About Us

In 1947, our grandfather, Michael C. Buccino, a gifted artist, and the son of Italian immigrant parents, embarked on a 24-year pilgrimage of creating a visual meditation booklet for use while praying the Most Holy Rosary. The idea sprung out of his desire to help his children be more engaged while praying this devotion. He created nearly 200 original pen and ink drawings for this booklet, one for each bead, to allow the user a more reflective meditation of this devotion. He eventually collaborated with his parish priest, Rev. Julius M. Porcellini O.S.M., who added scriptural meditations for each bead, in order to finalize a publication in 1971, titled, “The Rosary Album”. The book’s distribution began with his local parish, and soon spread throughout his home state of Colorado, then to schools and small bookstores throughout the United States, and eventually to locations out of the country. His goal was always to make just enough money to print more booklets to spread the devotion, and this booklet was truly his life’s work. Michael’s booklet received the official Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur declarations on July 1, 1975.
Michael continued to distribute this booklet up until his passing in 2000, after which his daughter continued to distribute the books. However, with changes in technology, the original printing method did not keep up with the latest digital technology, and the print quality of the books began to decline. However, the demand for this amazing booklet was still strong.
As a result, we, his granddaughters, have committed to continuing our grandfather’s mission of spreading this most holy devotion, and have remastered the booklet using the latest software and technology. All original artwork was rescanned to achieve the highest publishing quality. In June of 2024, The Rosary Album, 10th Edition was published and is now available for distribution. Since then, we have added The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows, The Lives of the Saints Collection and Scriptural Rosary Album (color).
We appreciate your visit to our online store, and your support in continuing our grandfather's legacy of spreading devotion to our Blessed Mother in the Most Holy Rosary.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary...Pray for us!

Reverend Julius Porcellini was born in Segni, a province of Rome, on August 21, 1899, and served in the Italian Infantry in World War I. His unit was involved in some of the bloodiest battles of the war while fighting in the Italian Alps. At times, casualties among the men ran as high as 93%, and Father Porcellini's feet became so badly frozen that it became necessary to amputate all of his toes. Following many months in the hospital, he regained the use of his feet and was able to resume his studies for the priesthood in Monte Senario, a motherhouse of the Servite Order. He was ordained on July 25, 1925.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Denver, Colorado was Father Porcellini's first assignment in the USA, where he served for 11 years. He was then name pastor of a nearby Servite parish. In 1943, he was named prior and master of novices at St. Joseph Seminary until 1947. By 1964, he was assigned again as paster of Mount Carmel where he served until the Fiftieth Anniversary of his Ordination in 1975. It was during this period that Father Julius collaborated with Michael C. Buccino in completing and publishing their labor of love, The Rosary Album. In fact, a limited special edition of The Rosary Album titled, "Scriptural Rosary Album" was published to celebrate Father Porcellini's fiftieth anniversary of Ordination. It is upon this publication that our full-color Scriptural Rosary Album is based.
In 1983, Father Julius passed away. The below illustration was created by our grandfather for the funeral Mass program, where he served as a pallbearer.
